Here is my story of all the artists.

One day, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift was on a bench talking about a collaberation they could do in 2020.

"What should we sing about", Said Ed,

Taylor replied, "I don't know".

Then Liam Payne came over to the bench.
Liam Said, "Hi guys, what are you doing.
Ed said, "Oh nothing, just thinking of a song we could do together in the new year and decade.

Elsewhere, Shawn Mendes was doing his Christmas shopping,
"What is there to buy", he said to himself and when he went down the mince pies aisle, he saw Camila Cabello. Shawn went over to her and said, "Shall we write another song together?"
Camila replied, "Yes we should".
Back at the park, Billie Eilish was sat on the bench which was two benches away from Ed and Taylor.
"What a cold day", she said as she got her phone out. Billie then went back to her house.

When she got back, she took off her coat and shoes, she hanged her coat up and placed her shoes in the under the stairs cupboard. She then went on her Laptop and when her Laptop was finally loaded up, she went onto the internet and looked on the Official Charts Website. She saw that Ladbaby could the Christmas #1 for a second time.
"Oh my god", she thought and then she went on YouTube to listen to some 80s music.
Elsewhere, Lewis Capaldi was at home celebrating his new single, "Before You Go", being released and he really wanted it to be #1 after Christmas and he was unhappy about Ladbaby because he could be this years Christmas #1. Lewis Quickly went on Instagram Stories and slagged off Ladbaby. He was swearing about them and everything. Elsewhere, George Ezra was in Great Yarmouth walking around until he saw a newspaper. On the front of the newspaper, he heard his 2018 single, "Shotgun", being played on the radio,

"I see that everyone still likes Shotgun", he thought to himself and he continued shopping in Great Yarmouth.

Elsewhere, Harry Styles was at home looking at the Official Charts website and he could not wait for the new chart to be updated tomorrow, "I hope Ladbaby is not this year Christmas #1 again", and then he continued looking at the Charts.
To Be Continued..........................

2010's music was absoloute rubbish!

RH

Richard Hammond

0

I have to agree with you there, Jeremy 2010's music was the worse.

JC

Jeremy Clarkson

0

I know I mean I hated Freak Of The Week by Krept and Konan and Billie Eilish is a bad singer!

RH

Richard Hammond

1

Yeah she is a very bad singer, Jeremy. and I can't stand Lean On by Major Lazer back in 2015!

JC

Jeremy Clarkson

0

Yeah, I prefer artists like The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Van Halen, Phil Collins, Genesis, Donna Summer, Bee Gees, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Rolling Stones, Spandau Ballet, UB40, Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart, Simply red and all other artists whose music made much more sense.

RH

Richard Hammond

0

Yeah I know. All the artists who made proper music. People just use a laptop to make music these days and some of them are mainly remixes!

JC

Jeremy Clarkson

0

I know and artists who were around in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s worked very hard at making music. They wrote lyrics, played real instruments and also performed it live.

I know. I mean who on earth are Ladbaby. They're not even real artists

The story of the fight between Stormzy and Ladbaby

One day, Ladbaby was sat on a bench feeding the ducks. Then out of nowhere, Stormzy appears.
Stormzy said, "I am going to be this years Christmas number 1 because my song is better than yours",

The man from Ladbaby replied, "Is it really. We will see about that tomorrow",

Stormzy replied, "If you get this years Christmas number 1, I will ruin your career",

Stormzy then walked away from Ladbaby.

This was released in 1982 but did not get to #1 on the Albums Chart until 1983. I love this Album from Michael Jackson because there are some awesome songs on it. The singles from this Album are, The Girl Is Mine which features Paul McCartney, Billie Jean, Beat It, Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' Thriller and P.Y.T (Pretty Young Thing) On some versions of the Thriller Album cover, Michael has a Tiger Cub on his knee and if you was to have the Vinyl version of this album and you open it, you will see that Michael is holding up the same Tiger Cub. I did not know this at first but apparently that was one of Michael Jackson's actual pet Tiger.

This is Official Singles Chart and the only Chart that matters. Anyway, the Official Charts Company are not going to stop counting streams just because of a couple of people opionions. Streaming is NOT going away so get used to it.

That was my initial prediction, but now I don't think streams will be strong enough for either of them until the tracking week that includes Christmas Day.

With permanent ACR acting against them, you're probably going to have to wait for either one of those two (probably 'All I Want For Christmas Is You') to get around about one million Spotify streams every single day!

As a cool chart coincidence for this week, 'Vossi Bop' by Stormzy & 'BOP' by DaBaby place right next to each other on the singles chart, at #92 & #93 respectively!

I have a feeling that the former re-entered more because of the General Election instead of 'Heavy Is The Head' coming out today.

avatar

akyovbashiev

2

Actually, I'm pretty sure 'Vossi Bop' re-entered because of Spotify Wrapped 2019 coming out late last week, which is also the reason for multiple other big tracks of this year shooting up as well - most notably 'I Don't Care', 'Senorita', 'Old Town Road', 'Someone You Loved' and others.

avatar

Piran

2

I'd have thought that 'Senorita' rebounded more because of Camila's album, but yeah, Spotify Wrapped probably gave the others a notable boost.

Then again, 'Someone You Loved' always seems to be hovering about anyway! :P

Looks like it got placed on ACR this week, but the surge of festive songs only made it fall even harder!

It appears that 'South Of The Border' survived ACR despite being predicted to be placed on it in the midweek updates.

avatar

Rector

1

Ffs Dance Monkey is still #1. I sincerely hope it doesn't pull another ACR swerve cuz if not this week will be its last week at #1 after like ten months.

#11 - "Adore You" - Harry Styles - 8/10
With its groovy beat and great vocals, this song got stuck in my head from just 2 listens. I think it deserves a 8/10!

My my, I didn't realize the Christmas #1 week would be here so quick. I'm rooting for Mariah and Dua Lipa but it's most likely gonna be Stormzy tbh... anything but LadBaby would be fine.

avatar

Piran

6

Right, my Top 100 Songs Of The Decade are coming up shortly, but now the big question... who's going to be the 2019 Christmas #1?

Please reply with your predictions.

I'm going with 'Own It' for now! :)

avatar

akyovbashiev

3

Now that we're really close to the Christmas chart, I'm honestly also gonna go with 'Own It', as it seems like the perfect candidate for the spot - with the album boost and iTunes discount especially.

Whatever it ends up being, please let it not be the sausage song...

avatar

Piran

4

I didn't mind 'I Love Sausage Rolls', but honestly, it kills the idea of novelty hits if you're going for Christmas #1 with the exact same theme you did last year...

avatar

Sbz93

3

I would be quite happy if ladbaby did it again. Unlike allot of the big names 100% of there profit goes to the tressell trust to help feed starving people in the UK, the higher they are on this chart the more they have raised.

As for the theme, yes its the same but if you look at his video blogs his "love of sausage rolls" is well known before even the 1st song he released.

Not saying its the best song for #1 but could allot worse right?

avatar

akyovbashiev

3

I feel the exact same way - it was kind of funny and interesting last year, sneaking into a race of big songs fighting for the #1 spot with something as random as sausage rolls, so I can give it that, even if the song itself was... well that's not really important in this case, but I didn't like it very much, to put it briefly.

Now though? He's doing another cover, and replacing "rock and roll" with "sausage rolls"... again? And the worst part is, apparently he's trying to go for three straight years of Christmas #1s... so if he actually gets it this year (let's hope not), we have another year of sausage songs to fear... yikes!

avatar

akyovbashiev

1

It's pretty cool that he's bringing up an important cause and donating all proceeds from the song to charity - but let's not forget that's the entire reason the song is here in the first place.

And I usually don't mind charity singles, even if their effect nowadays is much lessened, due to the ever decreasing download market, but Ladbaby could have at least tried to, in some way, differentiate this single from his previous one - even if sausage rolls are a running gag on his YouTube, this attempt of his is formulated exactly in the same way as last year's, which is what's so annoying about this.

It was funny the first time around - some random guy and his wife, no singing background, getting a #1 on the Christmas chart no less, by singing about sausage rolls. The song was pretty poor, but you couldn't help but respect it. Now... it just comes off as if they're milking their status, even if the money is going to good cause again.

avatar

Piran

2

That's the thing with Christmas #1 campaigns; they're meant to be unique & random, that's why the public will be intrigued by those kind of songs, meaning they'll buy or stream them excessively.

I get LadBaby's idea last year, but it won't be the same the second time round, as we've heard this all before from him. I will say that the video was still hilarious this year though! :P

Besides, even if 'I Love Sausage Rolls' did somehow end up as the Christmas #1, there's no guarantee that it'd work a third time in 2020, since somebody else could come up with an entirely different novelty smash by then!

avatar

Piran

1

I appreciate that it's for charity, but he could've come up with a different theme, since the uniqueness & randomness isn't really there anymore, which is kind of what you need to successfully campaign for Christmas #1.

That said, I think more people (on this forum at least) would want that at the top instead of a 12th week for 'Dance Monkey'!

S

Stephers

1

I'm going for 'Peace On Your Plate'. It's the first ever Christmas song that spreads the true Christmas message - peace, love and good will to ALL.

avatar

Piran

0

I haven't seen it on any sales nor streaming charts sadly, so I'm not sure it'll even chart, but at least the message sounds so meaningful & that's what Christmas is really about as you said! :)

avatar

Nada Batori

0

he's doing the sausage roll song for charity.... the song should be #1.

avatar

Paul Mears

2

You're right yep. It could be a lot worse. It could be a song as dull and dreary as most of the songs in the charts this year.

avatar

Alfred Lock

0

No! Stormzy's an anti-Tory ranger. I have no time for him and any similar celebrity ilk..Ladbaby is for charity and the true spirit of Xmas unlike the pocket filling coffees of Stormzys' record company Humbugs.

avatar

Alfred Lock

0

Rage Against The Machines'2009 no 1Killing In The Name is my favourite because it smashed Simon Cowells X Factor so anything that stops anyone I don't like at Xmas makes my Xmas.

Alfred Lock

0

avatar

Piran

Stormzy's just released an album though & 'Own It' was already doing really well beforehand, so he's not really trying for Christmas #1 at this point.

Besides, LadBaby has it in the bag now anyway!

I think the point is that regardless of the song it gives people food who are living below the poverty line. To be honest, it has nothing to do with the song. Yes mate! SAUSAGE ROLLS FOR THE WIN.

I review everything hot inside and bubbling under the UK's official top 40 - despite there only being one new entry today, there's a lot I want to cover, plus some more serious stuff, so let's just jump straight in.

(NEW ENTRY) #11: HARRY STYLES - ADORE YOU
I will admit, while I didn't really understand why "Watermelon Sugar" was pushed as a single from Harry's new album, "Fine Line", this is a much better choice! I enjoy the groovy feeling this gives off, and on first listen, it definitely sounds better than "Lights Up" did the first time! I still should mention this is not my type of music, but props to Harry for bringing back the rock-inspired sound to an otherwise mostly dance and hip-hop ruled chart (not that those are bad genres) - I can certainly respect this! I feel like this could be a tad bigger if not for the Christmas takeover, so let's see where it ends up in January, or maybe if it even breaks the top 10 next week with an album boost! For now though, I'm gonna be generous, even though this song is not my type, as I mentioned, because I do appreciate it and it's nice enough, with a decent 6/10.

avatar

akyovbashiev

3

While that song is all that is brand new to the top 40, we do also happen to have a re-entry into the charts, a special one - this week, we lost the very talented Juice WRLD, who sadly passed away, aged just 21. His music remains some of the best, most emotional and most honest in today's hip-hop, his delivery seemed incredibly raw and genuine, and besides that, he had a real connection to his fans, one not many music artists do; plus a great passion for what he did. This week sees the return of "Lucid Dreams", his biggest hit, into the charts, and while I wish it was a bit higher, technically the track is still on ACR so its real peak is likely somewhere around the top 10 - I just wish the rules were a bit different for occasions like this, so artists who pass away can be paid tribute to with a high chart placement. It's great we get to see the song in this giant Christmas takeover regardless, and a great way to say: rest in paradise, Juice WRLD. You will be missed.
And I think it's only right I also mention another great loss in music this week - while I'm a bit too young to be familiar with most of Roxette's work, I understand the great impact they had with their music, which is why it's so upsetting to hear of Marie Fredriksson's passing. Her music is nowhere to be seen on the top 100, unfortunately, while this is understandable, it is still pretty upsetting. Nevertheless, her legacy will live on.

avatar

akyovbashiev

3

On a bit more positive note, this is the final chart before the official Christmas chart next week - and with 'Dance Monkey' now undoubtedly going on ACR, and LadBaby starting off with incredibly strong sales (dear god…), it's anybody's guess as to who will be #1 next week. Apart from sausage man, Stormzy is looking to be next in the running - 'Own It' is discounted on iTunes, and with his album out, the track, which was already right behind Tones & I anyways, will surely get a significant boost. I did expect Lewis to have a campaign push for Christmas #1, so it's odd to see him just let this one slide, especially when he easily could have built on the initial momentum of 'Before You Go' to get it to #1, but I digress. The race is absolutely on - just whatever you do Britain, please don't go with the same lame joke for a second year running… and if you do, I will be laughing and cringing for you all the way from Bulgaria.

And finally, my brand new CrownNote chart is up! http://crownnote.com/charts/akyovbashiev/crystal-top-40-week-492019

Hey Akyovbashiev! :)

How's your week been?

Nice review as usual, although I do like 'Adore You' a bit more than you did! I'll be commenting on your new chart shortly.

avatar

akyovbashiev

1

Hey Piran! My week's been great, just prepping for the holidays, haha!

'Adore You' is not really my thing as a song, which is why its score is a bit low, but I still really respect it, regardless. And as for my chart - this week saw the return of a lot of Juice WRLD songs, and I know they're not your favorite, but in general I still hope you find it interesting!

avatar

Piran

1

Awesome! I'm starting work on Monday, so I might have to work up to Christmas Eve, but at least I know I'll be home with family for the big day. :)

To be fair, 'Adore You' isn't even among Harry's best singles (especially when a masterpiece like 'Sign Of The Times' exists) but I personally really like his new style he's taking.

No worries, I can at least respect the tributes you've shown to him!

avatar

akyovbashiev

1

That's great news - it's also great you'll be able to spend the holidays with family! Looking forward to that a lot as well :)

Honestly, as much as I'm not really on board with Harry's new singles (or even his first album, anyways), I absolutely love 'Sign Of the Times' - something about it really gets me, and I'm not quite sure what it is, but it does!

It's weird though, most of the 1D members' debut solo projects really impressed me - Zayn's 'Pillowtalk' and most of his work up till now is great, obviously Harry's debut single was fantastic, Louis' 'Back to You', while not his first solo single, is up there with my favorite songs of all time, and while Liam's 'Strip That Down' was meh at best, 'For You' with Rita was incredible - I guess that counts?
Which leaves Niall... yeah, I guess I've never really been on board with Niall, unfortunately. But given that I wasn't a big fan of 1D as a whole, that's still really impressive! Every one of the members was able to carve out their own sound and niche, and I think that's the best part about it.

avatar

Piran

0

Thanks Akyovbashiev! :)

I've always loved a lot of Harry's music, although I do agree that his debut era was better than this one in my opinion, although 'Lights Up' & 'Adore You' are both still awesome though.

I guess I don't really like dislike any of the 1D members to be totally, so I can't give a "least favourite", but unfortunately for you, Niall would have to be a close second for me!

With ZAYN, I really wish he promoted his music a lot more, since not doing that caused a severe drop-off for him, although I do get that it's partly related to anxiety.

My thoughts & observations on the UK charts as always…

‘Dance Monkey’ by Tones & I breaks an Official Chart record! With an 11th consecutive week at #1 on the singles chart, it’s now the longest running #1 single by a female artist ever! That said, this should also be its last week at the top, as I’d be very surprised if it avoids ACR again next week. However OCC haven't announced sales nor streaming figures for 'Dance Monkey' for this past week just yet, so I can't confirm anything at the moment!

‘Don’t Start Now’ by Dua Lipa is still #1 on airplay, as ‘Adore You’ by Harry Styles get the top radio debut at #3!

‘Dance Monkey’ also remains the most watched YouTube video across the country! It spends a ninth consecutive week at the top of the chart, where it falls 1.8% in views from last week to 4.51 million views.

The Christmas takeover strengthens yet again, as we go from nine festive songs in last week’s chart to 15 festive songs in this week’s chart!

I mentioned this earlier in the week, but R.I.P. to both Juice WRLD & Marie Fredriksson, who died over the past week! My condolences are with their family, friends & fans.

HARRY STYLES - ADORE YOU (#11)
As you would expect from a mid-December chart, the holiday songs re-entering really make new Top 40 entries a lot more sparse compared to other months, so this is the only one of the week, but I honestly don’t mind that, because I like this a lot! Harry’s always been able to embrace a throwback feel to all of his solo music, but with the slinking pulses & the disco groove gives this a lot more of a 70’s feel! Even then, Harry actually has the pipes to carry that, which seem to be mostly raw devotion to a female! I do think he goes a bit too loud on the pre-chorus which don’t allow the guitars to stand out as much as they should until the more grungier solo in the bridge, but I can’t deny that this is still so sweet & more proof that a former 1D member could actually end up attracting older listeners as well as younger ones with his new album that came out today. Overall, yeah, this really impressed me on first listen, so I’m giving this a solid 8/10!

On the albums chart, Rod Stewart claims his 10th #1 with ‘You’re In My Heart’, although it was an extremely narrow lead, as the Top 3 were separated by just 750 copies. It’s also a chart record for him, as he becomes the oldest male solo artist to reach the top spot, at 74 years & 11 months old!

The rest of the Top 5 is: ‘The Christmas Present’ by Robbie Williams (1-2), ‘Who’ by The Who (debuts at #3, was #1 midweek), ‘Back Together’ by Michael Ball & Alfie Boe (5-4) & ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’ by Lewis Capaldi (4-5).

Sadly, ‘Romance’ by Camila Cabello only debuted at #14, which is honestly the biggest disappointment I’ve seen in the albums this year, maybe even since I started following the charts at the start of the decade!

Looking ahead to the all-important Christmas Chart week, these songs could enter the Top 40 for the first time: ‘I Love Sausage Rolls’ by LadBaby, ‘Merry ChrisMoyles Everyone’ by Matt Hulbert, ‘Future Nostalgia’ by Dua Lipa, up to three tracks from Stormzy’s new album, more festive releases & maybe even more.

Finally, this might be the last time I post these long reviews due to new work commitments, although I’ll still be here every Friday or on weekend rating each new arrival to the Top 40 as usual!

Thanks for reading everyone! I hope you all have a good weekend. :)

It is indeed strange with Juice WRLD. On the Official Singles Sales Chart, the UK's biggest selling singles of the week, he also doesn’t really make an impact (“Lucid Dreams” is #58) but Roxette does. “It Must Have Been Love”, “Listen To Your Heart” and “The Look” are all re-entering top 100.

avatar

Piran

Roxette being an older group gives them the sales advantage, while Juice WRLD being a relatively new rapper boost his songs on streaming.

I guess the huge surge of Christmas songs along with the fact that Juice WRLD only really had one major hit in the UK is what prevented him from returning to the Top 40, although Roxette didn't manage to get any songs back in the entire Top 100 from what I could see! :(

It's very nice Piran that you've mentioned Juice Wrld & Marie Fredriksson who died last week. Juice Wrld has currently 3 of his singles in the Top 100 Singles Chart, but I regret that Roxette don't have any of their so many great hits they shared with us over a few decades.

Hello Piran!
Every single time I thought "Dance Monkey" won't be #1, it has been #1 for 11 weeks, not even entering ACR!
Very sad news that Juice WRLD & Marie Fredriksson passed away.
I like "Adore You" and I've heard the full album recently and it's really good!
However, I'm 100% sure that "Dance Monkey" will lose the #1 in the christmas chart, because after seeing LadBaby's numbers on kworb.net, it will probably take the #1 spot... joy.
Hope you have a great week and check out my new chart if you have the time!
I hope that your new job will be a good one!

Hey Sergej! How's your weekend going? :)

I'm surprised that 'Dance Monkey' has survived ACR for this long too, but it really doesn't look like it will for the coming week! It's going to be 'Own It' vs 'I Love Sausage Rolls' for Christmas #1 it seems.

I think the former will easily win on streaming thanks to Stormzy's album boost, but yeah, Kworb is indeed predicting massive sales for LadBaby. Regarding the latter, last year was funny & random, but this year would be a lot less exciting as we've already heard this kind of thing just 12 months ago. That said, I can respect that's at least for charity!

'Adore You' is indeed amazing, so despite the massive competition over on my new chart, it might make a Top 40 debut next week.

Have I not commented on your new chart yet? Sorry, I thought I had, but I'll make sure I do that very soon!

Finally, while it is indeed very sad to hear about Juice WRLD's & Marie Fredriksson's deaths, I'm very surprised that neither made any considerable re-entries this week, particularly the former.

Thanks, hope you're right!

It's a shame that Roxette couldn't re-enter anywhere other than having a minor impact on the sales chart, but Juice WRLD got a bigger resurgence as he's a newer rapper (although I'm surprised none of his songs returned to the Top 40, especially 'Lucid Dreams').

Hey Piran! It's very impressive to see 'Dance Monkey' break chart records by getting an 11th week at #1, but I am definitely getting a bit tired of seeing it at #1. This is now the 3rd week that it's declined in streams, though, so it should be going onto ACR next week. Even if it doesn't, I think 'Own It' and maybe 'I Love Sausage Rolls' will be able to dethrone it anyway. Other than that, I really love seeing 'Own It' climb up to #2, even if it is just because of 'Before You Go' falling since 'Own It' dropped a little bit in chart sales this week, and it's also cool to see 'Someone You Loved' and 'Don't Rush' rebounding further down.
There may only be 1 debut this week, there were a few last week that I missed! The Weeknd's debuts were definitely my favourite of the week, but they're both honestly not as good as I've come to expect from The Weeknd. 'Heartless' was just a strong 6/10 for me, and while 'Blinding Lights' was definitely better, I'd still only give it a strong 7/10 - light 8/10, which isn't really good when it's coming from an artist with 7 #1s and 10 Top 10s on my charts Ellie Goulding's vocal delivery is good on 'River', but it's really not my style of music at all, so a strong 5/10 - light 6/10 here. I don't mind 'Falling', and actually quite like the style, but it does sound pretty generic and cheap so this is only a solid 6/10 for me. As for this week's sole debut, 'Adore You', I actually don't mind it, but it's definitely nothing special for me, so another light 6/10 for this.
Next week will definitely be an interesting one as the race for Christmas #1 really starts. I've got my money on 'Own It' - quite literally! I put a £10 bet on it at 5:1 odds, so if it does become Christmas #1 I make £40 profit from it! It definitely looks like the most likely by a good margin, though. It's the biggest non-Christmas song on Spotify and the biggest overall on Apple Music, as well as being a solid #3 on iTunes. Meanwhile, 'I Love Sausage Rolls' may be doing incredibly on sales, but I think it just doesn't have the streams to back it up. Given the very quickly declining influence of the sales market, I really can't see 'I Love Sausage Rolls' getting more than 50,000 chart sales, and that's if it manages to get roughly 8x more than its closest competitor given that 'Dance Monkey' got just 6,406 actual sales this week, and it's #1 on the sales chart. Given that 'Own It' has been getting around 50,000 chart sales in total for the past few weeks, and will inevitably see an album boost, probably to around 70,000 chart sales, I think the odds of 'Own It' being #1 next week are very good! Other than that race, I can see 'Audacity' making a Top 10 debut if it can hold up throughout the week, and 'Lessons' will probably debut lower down as well.

Hey Gameskiller! :)

Firstly. let's quickly discuss the debuts, where they all seem to range from okay to decent according to your ratings, whereas I was a bit more positive on them as a whole.

Of course, we then need to get to our main discussion, the Christmas charts...

While Stormzy will almost definitely beat Harry Styles for the Christmas #1 album, the "First Look" is indicating that he might not do the same on the singles chart: https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/ladbaby-takes-early-lead-ahead-of-stormzy-wham-and-ellie-goulding-for-christmas-number-1__27980/

It seems like OCC are saying that 'I Love Sausage Rolls' are already extremely dominant in the first two days, but because it's got no streaming presence, the gap could close considerably over the next few days. Although, at the same time, its sales lead went from a 3x lead a few hours ago to a 5x lead right now!

Much to my amazement, the songs from #2 to #4 are all within 2,000 combined sales at the moment, those being: 'Own It', 'Last Christmas' & 'River' respectively.

According to Akyovbashiev, WHAM! are ahead of Mariah this week because of a physical edition of 'Last Christmas' that came out on Friday, but 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' does remain the most streamed track of the week so far!

As for Stormzy's other tracks, the new update has him at #8 with 'Audacity' & #13 with 'Lessons'.

Yeah, I had no doubts that 'I Love Sausages Rolls' would be #1 on the First Look. They generally only include 1 day's streaming data (sometimes even less as not all platforms reports on time every week) and 2 day's sales data. We saw it last week with 'River' being #2 on the First Look since the only platforms that had reported at that point were Amazon and iTunes, but on the final chart 'River' was down at #8. I expect something similar will happen this week, just to a lesser degree, with 'I Love Sausage Rolls' ending at #2. I'm fairly confident that, unless 'I Love Sausage Rolls' can maintain a 10x lead over 'Own It' on iTunes throughout the entire week, or 'Own It' falls drastically on streams, 'Own It' will be #1 next week. I guess we'll just have to wait and find out, though!

Yeah, we apparently only have 24 hours of streaming data for the article that just got posted, along with about 48 hours of sales as you mentioned. Therefore, I'll be paying a lot more attention to tomorrow's full chart update instead! ;)

Interestingly though, if LadBaby did get Christmas #1, it would be the first time since The Spice Girls in 1998 whereby an artist has scored consecutive festive chart-toppers.

On the other hand, if Stormzy does it, I believe it'll be the first Christmas #1 that's a British rap song, so it looks like history is getting made regardless!

As for my personal chart for next week, while the song at #1 might change, the singer certainly won't! ;)

I posted the song that right now is closing in on 'Body Back' at the top of the page! It's called 'Wait For You', so let me know what you think of that one when you get the chance.

I just checked it out, and it's another really good track from Maia Wright here! I'd say that I prefer 'Body Back', but I'm still really liking 'Wait For You', and it should have a good chance of debuting on my charts next week, though its position will certainly be muted do to 'Romance' and 'Heavy Is The Head' tracks.

I think 'Body Back's slightly better too, but this is so amazing anyway! :)

Coolocelot were discussing how the song might have a really happy vibe, yet the video is very sad if you watch until the end.

That's amazing that it could actually debut on your own chart next week, especially when there are two massive albums taking over at the same time!
